Irene is committed to providing professional therapy to individuals/couples/families who are experiencing various emotional or psychological difficulties.  She has worked extensively with those who struggle with issues related to depression, anxiety, phobias, trauma, eating disorders, anger management, relationship problems (including separation/divorce) work related stress, parenting, bereavement and loss, life transitions and old wounds from childhood.

Irene strongly believes that each and every person has the ability, the courage, and the internal resources to evolve and heal.  For Irene, therapy is a collaborative process which encourages people to reach a place within themselves in order to move toward a richer more rewarding life.  Irene practices from an open minded, accepting and non-judgemental philosophy by providing a safe, supportive and compassionate therapeutic environment where individuals can freely discuss their concerns.

Irene's accomplishments include an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Masters of Social Work Degree from the University of Toronto.  In addition, Irene completed a Mediation/Conflict Resolution Program thought the Harvard Negotiation Project.
